Day 6 of 365: The Problem with Pigging Out

9th Dec. 2012 | 8:33 PM
Pigging-Out

The problem with finding out you've lost some LBs is celebrating and overindulging.

My struggle is not quite getting a set routine which involves when and why I should eat. One thing that is constant though is working out. Thank goodness for that!

Yesterday, the SM cinemas were having a free movie day. So my husband and I had a nice date.

•It started with some wonderful Asian-Fusion at Ilaputi. I had the MexCebuano: Chicken breast marinated in Cebuano And Mexican spices over rice. Also had a delicious Greek-ish salad with a Vietnamese twist.

•Next up, my fave: non-fat iced coffee latte

•After an hour, half of a blueberry Danish and some refreshing mineral water with orange slices (I love it when restaurants are thoughtful like this) at the FRENCH BAKER, SM Cebu.

•Then some California Maki, miso soup, and gyros at Teriyaki Joe

•Finally some milk tea from Cobo's and some movie theater popcorn (no salt please!)

I never did get around to doing my circuit. But my husband and I walked that evening to make up somehow. It would have been nice though to burn some extra calories especially with my pigging out the next day as well.

...and here it is:

•Started out fine with some freshly pressed coffee (Christmas blend); fresh fruit: banana and mango; a bread roll or "pandesal" with mango jam; cereal and non-fat milk (do you sometimes mix your cereal? I do!)

•I really wanted to try some Korean cuisine and we did just that. While my husband and a friend of ours had the bulogi, I had bibimpap (with more veggies, an egg, and rice).
I overindulged consuming one and a half cups of rice.

•Followed by a peppermint mocha and a half a slice of mango cheesecake from Starbucks.

•Then as we went to visit with friends at school, I had my third, yes third cup of coffee with coffee mate and one teaspoon of brown sugar, a fish fillet and fries from McD's and washed it down with a cookie and Sprite (kill me now!)

So this coming week is the beginning of my work out plans. Time for making those better decisions and buckling down!

Come on K! You've come this far! No more cheat days! More workouts!
