Training Day 25: Recovery...



My plan was to make this week "RECOVERY WEEK" no matter what and slowly walk back into running. The only thing that got in the way of course is the unbearable sharp pain in my jaw. I keep thinking, maybe I overexerted myself on Tuesday thinking I was already better, ready to get back into the swing of things? I don't know. I just know that tomorrow I meet with my oral surgeon for a follow-up check up and I'm getting to the bottom of this! I've been itching, aching to start training again as insane as that sounds. But I must, must, must remember that I need to really recover FIRST before doing anything that could harm me in the future.
